A little history:
Miguel was born and raised in San Francisco and lived in California all his life. At age seventeen he found an abandoned still camera in good working condition on the sidewalk in San Francisco. It didn’t take long for him to discover his passion for photography. It was within the many photos Miguel had taken that year when he learned that every picture tells a story.
He served in the US NAVY from 1988 to 1992 during Desert Shield/Storm. His first exposure to video was during that time when he was working on board the USS Saratoga, an aircraft carrier, as a camera operator and video editor. He was responsible for assembling video of aircraft launch and recoveries in preparation for combat pilot debriefings and analysis.
During the 90’s he played in a funk/soul band performing at various nightclubs throughout Northern California. He’s a drummer at heart and keyboardist whose been playing since 1984. He writes, composes, and arranges his own music and his band at the time, Davinci & the Q, had been featured on cable TV and local radio stations. Throughout the 80’s, he had played in marching bands whose events were broadcast live on television, which included parades and halftime football game shows. During boot camp, he was the drum section leader who led the US Navy Recruit Drum & Bugle Corps during graduation ceremonies.
In the early 2000’s, he obtained his real estate broker license and honed his business skills during contract negotiations. He oversaw numerous transactions involving millions of dollars in sales and loans. He established many new business relationships over the years. His life experiences have come full circle preparing him for his life’s passion.
